The aim of this workshop is to unite Ukrainian and Lithuanian artists and to explore artistic identity of each other and artistic identity of a group, when artistic-each-others meets for a week of creative workshops:
- Who are us as artists – our history, social and political aspects, traumas, experiences, etc.? Personally, and as a group?
- How could we work together, what method could we use, what synergy could it bring, what concepts, emotions, subjects, objects, sounds, lights or movements could it create?
During the workshop Ukrainian and Lithuanian artists will be analyzing Lithuanian and Ukrainian cultural field, share ideas and will present experiences for the public. After workshop best ideas and proposals for the projects will have opportunity to be developed with the scholarship of 600 Eur.
Mentors: theatre director and actor Gediminas Rimeika, contemporary dance choreographer and dancer Greta Grinevičiūtė, composer Agnė Matulevičiūtė, light designer Julius Kuršis.
Dates of the workshop: November 7-12.
Venue: Arts printing house (Šiltadaržio 6,Vilnius)
Participants: Ukrainian artists
Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
