AGNĖ MATULEVIČIŪTĖ

Agnė Matulevičiūtė  is a sound artist and composer, with a particular focus on music for theatre and film. Media and interdisciplinary art contexts, musical performances, experiments based on sonic expression are her field of activity. She is currently studying PhD at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she is researching and developing the concept of "after-sound" in contemporary music. Since 2014 she has been actively participating in group exhibitions, art and contemporary music festivals, artist residencies in Lithuania and abroad. Her music written for cinema has been recognised with a national award. She has also composed music for more than 30 productions in the biggest Lithuanian theatres (twice nominated in national theatre awards). Her works were presented not only in Lithuania, but also in Austria, Czech republic, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Pakistan.

 

GEDIMINAS RIMEIKA

Gediminas Rimeika is known in Lithuanian theatre as both: an actor and a director. In 2010-2012 he studied theatre directing in Klaipėda University, in 2016 he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (course led by Oskaras Koršunovas). After having played prominent roles in performances directed by Oskaras Koršunovas, Łukasz Twarkowski, Antanas Obcarskas, Rimeika started directing himself in 2019. His directorial works can be characterised by attention to the actor, and openness for experimentation.

GRETA GRINEVIČIŪTĖ

Choreographer and dancer Greta Grinevičiūtė  as an artist has extremely wide interests: from contemporary operas till theatre stage. As choreographer she is creating contemporary dance pieces, dance movies. She has made three dance performances in MMLAB, the fourth one – „Dance for a cigarette and the best friend“ will be premiered in 2024.

PAWEL SAKOWICZ

Paweł Sakowicz is a choreographer and dancer. He graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in political studies and holds an MA in performance and choreography from the London Contemporary Dance School. He has collaborated with Ramona Nagabczyńska, Marta Ziółek, Iza Szostak, Alex Baczyński-Jenkins, Rebecca Lazier, Isabelle Schad, Peter Pleyer, Joanna Leśnierowska, Magda Szpecht, Łukasz Twarkowski, Michał Borczuch, and Anna Smolar.

Sakowicz’s artistic development was supported by a scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, a residency programme run by the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw, by the Alternative Dance Academy of the Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, by the Centre National de la Danse in Paris, and 2017 danceWEB scholarship. He was nominated for the 2016 Polityka Passport Award. Currently, he is a guest teacher at the Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw.

NAUBERTAS JASINSKAS

Emerging theatre director, whose work deals with empathy, patriarchy, gender, sexuality, family, class and the power that binds these structures. In 2022, he was awarded the Golden Stage Cross (the highest merit in theatre arts in Lithuania) in the Young Artists category for the show “bowel”, and in 2023 he was nominated for the Golden Stage Cross for Best Direction for the shows “The End of Eddy and “The Pelican”.
